In case
Мы употребляем in case чтобы сказать о результате, из-за которого кто-то делает или не делает что-то.
Что-то делается сейчас на случай (in case), что что-то возможно произойдет позже.
- I'll leave my mobile phone switched on in case Boris calls.
- I'll send you sms with our address in case you have difficulty finding our house.
- I'll remind her about the party in case she has forgotten.
- Мы говорим just in case когда меньше верим в последущую возможность:
- I don't think it will rain, but I'll take an umbrella just in case.
- Мы не употребляем will после in case. Мы используем Present Simple или Present Continuous.

- I'm running just in case she is waiting for me.
- Сравните in case и if:

- In case of не то же самое, что in case. in case of = если что-то:
- In case of police, please be quiet as it's possible.
- In case of emergency, telephone this number.
